Finally, a
Commissioner
for ALL of US!
About Denny Malloy
Denny Malloy has served as a Regional Director with Whitetails Unlimited for over 20 years, managing operations in 9 states including Ohio, where he recruited over 10,000 members to help promote their mission of outdoor conservation and support for youth outdoor sportsmen activities. Denny also hosted his own radio and television shows on 570 WKBN and FOX 17/62 for 13 years reaching thousands of Trumbull County citizens on a weekly basis.
Denny’s work with Whitetails Unlimited, a national wildlife preservation organization, inspired him to get involved in local politics. Denny volunteered on the local, state, and federal levels to work on outdoor recreation and firearm policies. After years of watching hard-working people with good policies get left behind in the dirty political process, he decided it was time to take his involvement to the next level.
Denny’s mission to make Trumbull County a better place inspired him to serve on the County Tourism Board for 6 years, where he got to see first-hand how much his home had to offer. Denny believes that the government can do a better job for the people of Trumbull County. The county’s unique blend of rural, suburban, and urban cultures presents Trumbull with unique opportunities for improvement and success. Denny has watched thousands of citizens get left behind and ignored by their local government and he wants to give them the service and respect they deserve. Trumbull County needs a County Commissioner to bridge the divide and work with all of our communities, Trumbull County needs a commissioner who will move the county forward and bring new creative ideas to the table. Trumbull County needs Denny Malloy.
issues that matter to denny malloy
Small businesses are the backbone of our communities in Trumbull County. Family businesses are being outcompeted and driven away due to “quick fix” band-aids on long-term planning deficiencies. Our leaders have failed us. The Mosquito Lake communities have not seen a plan for infrastructure or sewer and water in decades and are being left by the wayside. Bad politics, lack of a comprehensive plan for growth, and poor communication with County Government is causing those communities to suffer. The 2nd largest lake in the state deserves better from our elected officials.
Townships all across Trumbull County have faced budget challenges over the last decade and are expected to do more with less, year after year. They deserve a leader to help them work together to maximize and share resources so they can more effectively serve their communities.
Our county is made up of 25 unique townships, yet most of the attention from the politicians seems to always fall on the areas south of the Route 82 bypass. We need a whole county approach and a County Commissioner that understands the needs of those “forgotten” communities and can deliver the results they need.
Our police, fire, and emergency medical heroes have been forced to work with a 911 system that is maxed out and forced to operate without proper funding and staffing to keep our communities and first responders safe. The politicians have let this issue continue for far too long, immediate action is needed to ensure the people of Trumbull County can feel safe and receive the services they need.
With the loss of GM and countless other businesses, Trumbull County is facing economic anxiety that is driving more and more residents to leave the county, never to return. The bleeding of jobs and population needs to stop and someone has to be held accountable. New leadership needs to boost morale and bring back a sense of optimism, comfort, and pride so our children and grandchildren can live and thrive in their hometown once again.
Trumbull County is facing lost jobs, continuing population loss, and crumbling infrastructure. Our current County Commissioners think more taxes, knee jerk reactions to crisis, and foolish personal drama are a perfectly fine solution to these challenges.
That’s unacceptable. It’s time Trumbull County had a leader that relates to the people and understands, listens, and brings results. We’ve had enough of all talk, no action politicians continuing to fail the good people of Trumbull County. Denny Malloy is the person we can rely on to fight and win for us.
